Isn’t it a great feeling when you and a group of others who share the same passion and dedications as you, can come together and unite in something truly wonderful?
That ‘something truly wonderful’ is the 6th annual Cannabis Liberation Day. Cannabis Bevrijdingsdag (Cannabis Liberation Day) is an annual event organised by the Association for the Abolition of Cannabis Prohibition (VOC).
Cannabis Liberation Day aims to bring recognition to the international cannabis culture and the many uses of the Cannabis plant, as well as being a demonstration against the prohibition of cannabis.
This celebrated day is one of the most important events in Dutch cannabis culture and has been confirmed for Sunday June 15th at Flevopark, Eindhoven , Amsterdam.
This free event is scheduled from 2pm-10pm and the infamous Amsterdam based Dutch Passion Seeds are the main sponsor. (It is also partnered by Highlife/Soft Secrets, Othala, Azarius, PCN, and Sensi Seeds)
Cannabis Bevrijdingsdag attracts visitors from all around the world and as well as being a demonstation of how cannabis can unite people, there is a massive range of activities and things to see and do, and so much to learn by being there. There will be a hemp market selling a range of hemp related arts and crafts, national and international artists and Dj’s – including Def-P & Bl3nder, and the Antwerp Gipsy Ska Orchestra and some incredible guest speakers (Michel Degens from the Mambo Cannabis Social Club in Belgium, Henk van Dalen from Dutch Passion). There will be fresh food and drinks (non-alcoholic) and a Cannabis Film Festival screening some of the most poignant and informative cannabis related films and documentaries made.
Cannabis Liberation Day will also host the 2014 Highlife Cup, the oldest cannabis contest in The Netherlands.
